Our Mission

Learning to Play (LTP) serves children, families, and the community by providing virtual support, digital guides, and in-person play and social skills groups using behavior analytic principles through a social-emotional lens. Our families may be seeking support with autism, an autism diagnosis, school transitions, social skills, sibling relationships, challenging behavior, or simply creating routines at home.

OUR CORE VALUES

  • Meet families where they are at

  • Build a strong social-emotional foundation for learning

  • Respect diverse cultural backgrounds

  • Design customized, family-driven therapeutic goals

  • Increase confidence in parent-child relationship

  • Share our knowledge with the broader community through trainings and outreach

  • Continuous learning about autism, autistic advocacy, and the autistic community

Equity and Inclusion Statement

LTP is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion as an organization. As women of color, we are dedicated to working with our families that bring different experiences, cultures, and perspectives to create a neurodiverse and inclusive community.
